Noble Technical Institute · last updated 13 October 2026
This notice explains what personal information Noble Technical Institute holds about students, staff and owners, why it is held, and who else sees it. It covers the institute's student portal at lms.noble.edu.krd and the messages the institute sends by WhatsApp, email and SMS.
Who is responsible
Noble Technical Institute is responsible for this information. Our contact details are at the foot of this page.
What we hold
- Students — name, student number, department and stage, contact details including phone number and email address, academic records and results, and the fees charged, paid and outstanding.
- Staff and lecturers — name, contact details, appointment and salary terms, and the payslips issued.
- Owners — name, contact details including phone number, and their capital and drawings.
Why we hold it
To run the institute: to enrol and teach students, to record and publish results, to charge and collect fees, to pay staff, and to answer questions from the people the information is about. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
Messages we send
The institute uses phone numbers and email addresses to reach the people it deals with. Specifically:
- WhatsApp — fee and instalment notices to students, and replies to owners who message the institute first asking about the institute's finances. A phone number is used only to reach the person it belongs to.
- Email and SMS — account and results notifications, and enquiries submitted through the institute's website.
A student or owner can ask to stop receiving these at any time by contacting the office.
Who else sees it
Only the services that carry our messages, and only the part they need to deliver one:
- Meta Platforms — WhatsApp messages and the phone numbers they are sent to and received from.
- Infobip — email and SMS, and the addresses and numbers they are sent to.
We do not share personal information with anyone else except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Student and academic records are kept as part of the institute's permanent record. Financial records are kept for as long as accounting and audit require. Deleted records are held recoverably for 30 days before being removed.
Your choices
Anyone whose information the institute holds may ask to see it, ask for it to be corrected, or ask to stop being contacted. Write to the office using the details below and we will respond.
